We were asked to investigate how hazardous waste could be disposed of.
We have requested this information from Babergh District Council, unfortunately the only way is to book a hazardous waste collection. If you require such a collection it can be booked on the Baberg District Council Waste Services website.
Items classified as hazardous waste include:
- DIY products (for example, paint stripper)
- Flammable liquids (for example, white spirit or paraffin)
- Garden chemicals (for example, pesticides or weed killers)
- Household cleaning products
- Motoring products (for example, antifreeze, petrol or diesel)
- Poisons
- Solvent-based paints
